After retiring from 30 years of service in the Police, I realised I wasn’t quite ready to step away from working altogether. This inspired me to establish Blue Light Ladies — a service focused on supporting people with life’s unexpected and often time-consuming tasks.
Having completed specialist biohazard cleaning courses we are now fully qualified to offer this additional service. While formal qualifications in this area are not always required, the work goes far beyond standard cleaning. It requires sensitivity, care, and a strong attention to detail.
By combining the experience and skills developed over three decades in policing with our specialist training, we offer a service that is consistently professional, discreet, and delivered with compassion in difficult situations.
Based in the heart of Shropshire we are available for life's little emergencies or regular visits. All of our services can be tailored to your needs. Whether it be a garden overhaul, a weekly tidy up, fortnightly or a one off, no request is too small. Gardening can be very therapeutic when you have time on your hands but if you don't it can quickly become an added stress. Gardens can quickly become untidy with year on year growth. We offer a range of services to keep your garden looking its best:

- Memorial cleaning and care

Holiday Helper
When you go on holiday it can be a real worry leaving your home, holidays need to be a relaxing time to be able to rest and recover from everyday stresses. We offer the following services to help ease your worries enabling a stress free holiday:

- Feeding small pets
- Watering plants
- Basic food shop
We provide our clients an invaluable holiday service where they can give us their keys and forget about home/plants/small pets knowing they're in our safe hands.
Specialist Cleaning
We provide many different specialist cleaning services depending on your specific needs. A basic quotation can be given over the phone based on the required job but we do like to visit to be able to give you a more comprehensive quote. Our services include:
- Needle Sweeps
- Hoarding/Mental health crisis cleans
This type of cleaning requires specialist knowledge and equipment, at Blue Light Ladies we are fully trained and certified to provide this service.
